Restaurant Fasika in Cologne

Very tasty, also a dream to eat to take away during these special times. Very nice and prompt service!

This is a good traditional Ethiopian restaurant, my family and I loved it!

We got a soup delivered with a melted plastic cap inside the soup bowl and the soup all over the other dishes. I called the restaurant and first reaction was “This is not possible”. They then said they will make up for it when I order next time, no apology, also after sending the photos through FB messenger. So basically, I paid for a soup that wasn’t eatable (unless you enjoy some melted plastic), and they consider it my problem. Bad customer service. I still give it 2 stars because the other food was tasty and well spiced, but they don’t seem to care much about customer satisfaction.

Very authentic, food really with original ingredients and perfectly prepared, super friendly service, pleasant atmosphere.

Unfortunately wrong information in the menu, allergy sufferers must be very careful here! For example, the starter dumplings with lentils is declared vegan, but unfortunately my allergic reaction clearly showed that there was egg in the dough! Something like that doesn't work and can be life-threatening. Unfortunately, the staff reacted relatively indifferently to my advice in this regard. So I won't go to this place anymore. Otherwise the food didn't taste that good compared to other Ethiopian restaurants.

Unfortunately I didn't like it at all. The flesh was full of tendons.

Super tasty vegetarian food! Belongs to my absolute favorite restaurants in Cologne. Price-performance is great, we always have the rest packed up because there is so much and injera is always included. I can only recommend.

African pleasure. Been here the second time and it was, at least, as tasty as the first time. So far I have ordered '' Injera '' (the traditional sourdough bread) with a side dish. There are of course alternatives such as B. '' Rice ''. Clear recommendation.

I was there with my friends. This place is good for eating in groups so that you can share the platters. Food were very tasty. They have vegetarian friendly recipes as well. The place is easily accessible by public transport. Their roasted coffee is added attraction for coffee lovers

Ate Ethiopian food for the first time and loved it. Small but very nice restaurant. Nice staff and something different to eat than usual, but still super tasty, maybe a little hotter than usual

Everything was perfect! As vegans completely got our money's worth :) Super delicious food, personable, capable service staff and just a really nice atmosphere. Will be back and can only make a recommendation :)

find the inn to be irrelevant for all sorts of occasions, be it with a partner, friends or family. I found the bid extremely appealing. I would be happy to come here with my business partners and can rely on being looked after in a masterly manner. I can say that nothing has disappointed us so far! It was a success in my mouth every time.

The Fasika is a small restaurant, it is nicely decorated and, above all, the food is delicious. You eat with your fingers, but you can also get cutlery. But the experience is nicer if you eat traditionally. Under no circumstances should you reject the small coffee that is freshly roasted and prepared in the restaurant. A fine pleasure. Conclusion: We will definitely be back.

Very, very delicious food. Only the wait staff could be a little more attentive. We were never asked if we needed anything else. Every time we wanted to have a drink we had to stop the waitress when she walked past us. We were then given every wish and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back.

I've been there quite a lot and can only say .... it's delicious every time! Can highly recommend the lamb (tibs), although I'm not really a fan of lamb! Relaxed music from Ethiopia in the background is also part of the beautiful decoration. Once a week there is even a "coffee ceremony" there. Whether with friends, family or alone, it's worth it.

Food is authentic. A lot of vegan options... but service is super slow. If u short on time don't go there!

Injera worth trying.

First time eating Ethiopian food. We went there with a couple of friends and we all were astonished by the great taste. A bit spicy but not too much, so gave the food a nice hot flavor. Eating with hands was something new for me and you definietly feel the food in a different way then using your hands. If you want to try something new exciting visit Fasika. Price is not to expensive, around 15 to 20 € per person.

Ethiopian food The food is good and the place is well set. The prices are normal but not very cheap. The service, at least the one that was given to us, was not very kind to be told.

Great tasty food. The roasting of the coffee and the freshly brewed coffee is amazing and happens around 2100h. It has a homely ambience.

Excellent food that makes up for the slightly heavy (but comfortable) decor. The meat is excellent as is the veggie platter.. try the honey wine to mitigate the delicious spices !

Excellent Ethiopian restaurant. Don't forget to have their homemade Ethiopian coffee.
